Sunshine Rising is a blog platform for SDS owner Sunshine Urbaniak to have some creative fun. It’s an inspirational living blog site: a destination for all things positive. Things that you can read, eat, explore, and expand from—to inspire you to live a better life—in every way possible. She wanted the logo to play off the words, hence cutting off the top of the word rising with sunshine to invoke a sunrise. It applies nicely to online merch. A color palette was designed for the website as well as an overall tone for all photography. SEE MORE

Did you know that 87% of customers think brands should work harder at delivering a consistent experience? A potential customer picks up a flyer from your stand at a local event. They like what they see, so they head on over to your website for further research. But when they get to your website it comes across very different than your flyer. Inconsistency leaves customers confused: something that’s hardly going to build trust or boost conversions. All customer touchpoints need to speak the same language as well as follow approved brand visual guidelines.

Between the cold winter weather and Coronavirus forcing you to stay inside, it’s now more important than ever to take care of your mental health. Being stuck inside for long periods of time can create feelings of loneliness, irritation, and helplessness. Be sure to schedule some “me-time” to check-in with your emotions. Try to dig deeper and find the reasons why you might be feeling this way, then find solutions that align with your happiness. That might include weekly calls with your best friend, alone time away from your partner and kids, or mindful meditation.

Daniel Goldstein, better known by his stage name Lane 8, is an American musician, electronic music producer, and DJ currently residing in Denver, Colorado. Rise was his debut album in 2015.
