Build Your Business with Social Media

Social media has become a necessary tool to grow business. It’s the top vehicle to reach new customers, retain existing ones, and drive traffic to your website. While many people view social media as a channel only used by consumer brands, social media can significantly benefit B2B and technology companies as well.

Increase your social media exposure by posting high-quality content frequently, once a day if possible. Be sure to always be consistent with your brand and always reply to comments or messages to encourage interaction. The way to hook a potential customer is to help them solve their problem, versus trying to “sell” them something. Educate them. The more they connect with your content, the more likely it is that they’ll share it, thus increasing your online exposure, with the hope of gaining even more followers.

Use social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to share thought-provoking and industry-relevant news and articles. Positioning yourself as a thought-leader in your industry will help your company’s reputation when potential customers are seeking a qualified partner.

Did you know that YouTube is the number two most used search engine behind Google? Video marketing is very hot right now. It’s a great platform to “talk” to your audience via video and sound, versus static photos. Also, by integrating strategic keywords to your videos, it will increase your SEO impression, helping to push organic search results up the ladder.

"SDS is our go-to graphic studio for a range of projects including print, web and photographic. As a designer myself, I appreciate their eye for what makes an appealing layout, rarely have we had to give them anything more than passing direction. That’s the true hallmark of a professional."
